Garnier Micellar Water Review

Recently I was sent Garnier Micellar Water to review as well as the Garnier Rose Soothing Facial Mist.

Although I was provided these products, my review is completely honest. I pride myself on sharing only the best products with my readers!

I am a very heavy makeup user. I love my high coverage foundation, eyeliner, bronzer, eyebrow cream…. I wear it all!!!

When wearing a lot of makeup, the biggest problem is removing it all at the end of the day. I’ve always had to cleanse my face multiple times because I still had makeup left behind in my pores. Which ultimately led to horrible, severe breakouts.

When I received the Garnier Micellar Water, I was first concerned about my sensitive skin. I started off testing it on a small patch by my ear for a few days, which I recommend to anyone with sensitive skin and using a new product. Once I felt comfortable, I then went on to use the Micellar Water on my whole face and was in shock with how amazing it worked! One or two cotton pads will do the trick and all my makeup is completely gone. I use a Q-tip on hard to reach places like my eye-makeup and eye-liner.

This product is great for sensitive skin. I used the blue lid, that works for waterproof makeup. It even took off my red lipstick, which is notorious for the  stains it leaves behind. Sometimes it’ll be days before it’s actually off.

However it does leave an oil-like residue, which I do not like for my whole face makeup removal. I only use the blue lid, waterproof for stubborn makeup.

After- The majority of the red lipstick is removed

For regular full-face makeup removal I use the pink lid, which is for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It removes all my makeup really well, without that oily feeling.

Since using this product my night time routine time has been cut in half.

I use a cotton pad, damp it generously  with the Micellar Water, and remove my makeup. I complete my skincare routine with cleanser, moisturizer and spritz the Soothing Rose Facial Mist to lock in the moisture. It also leaves the nicest smell right before bed. IMG_5709
