Morning Routine Checklist
I’ve been there one too many times.
Hitting my alarm clock for the 5th time… knowing I will run late and convincing myself that 15 more minutes of sleep will actually make a difference.
Last month I decided enough is enough. I want to be a morning person and I need to try my hardest do to that. I created a nightly and morning checklist that will not only have you ready for the day but you will also get your exercise out-of-the-way, first thing in the morning!
So why is it important to start your morning off right?
1. You are more productive in the day. Your morning basically sets your mood. Productive morning = Productive Day
2. You are less likely to have anxiety because you will be prepared every morning. You can just grab everything and get going… what’s better than that?!
3. You will eat better because you have planned your meals. This really all depends on if you make your meals healthy but if you plan on going to the gym then your meals should probs be healthy.
4. Your exercise will be done for the day… so no feeling guilty when you skip because you’re tired after work. That was always my excuse. But you have the most energy in the morning so you might as well get it done.
5. After 3 weeks (21 days) this will become habit… which should be the ultimate goal.
I created this checklist because in the moment I can be very forgetful and this helps keep my busy mind on track. I keep it on my fridge and as I walk by in the evening and morning it, I make sure I get everything done.
I kept some parts blank so you can fill-in your own personal schedule.
I hope you enjoy!
