Christmas Card 2018 Photoshoot

Its the most wonderful time of year!

This is my husband and I’s first photo shoot for a Christmas card. The year before we used a photo we had taken on a recent trip to NYC.  Personally, I love sending snail mail because it’s so special and sometimes as adults you lose everyday communication with people but sending a Christmas card reminds them that you still care about them and often times reopens conversation with them! It’s a simple gesture that can mean so much.

I knew I wanted my outfit to be fabulous so I was super excited about getting the perfect dress from MGC boutique in Apex and my jewelry from Kenda Kist.

We decided to take our photos at Bond Park in Cary, NC. They have such a beautiful lake and setting for photos. I highly recommend this spot for anyone taking pictures!

We used Postable for our Christmas cards. This is the fifth time (and definitely not the last) I have used their website and the cards always come out stunning! I had previously used their website for my Save the Date, Bridal Shower, Rehearsal Dinner and last years Christmas Card. They save the addresses’ of friends and families so it makes it super easy to send your cards every year AND you can email them to update their information if they move. They will also send reminders for your friends’ and families’ birthdays, which is very helpful!

Feel free to use my code MRJ2X8NX on Postable and if you spend $20, we both will get $5!

Here is a preview of our completed card from Postable!

We used the Mistletoe Be Merry card and inserted our own pictures.
